As an accomplished executive, I've channeled my broad expertise in investment management, blockchain technology, and strategic consulting to steer numerous successful ventures. A common thread in my professional journey is the ability to discern growth opportunities, foster innovation, and ensure sustained profitability.
At the helm of White Sports Ventures, a private equity firm located in Elkins Park, my mission is to bridge strategic growth with revenue generation, all while ensuring optimal operational efficiency within the soccer industry. Under my stewardship, we've cultivated a diverse portfolio of five businesses, each serving a unique niche within the soccer sector. My primary role has been to mentor these businesses, guiding them with industry insights and capitalizing on emerging market trends. Our holdings are in the media, insurance, mental health and mobile and data technology.
Financial management is another realm where I've made considerable strides. As the CIO and CEO of Accra Capital Partners, based both in Fairbanks and Elkins Park, I have since 2021 orchestrated an average 11% return for investors. This success is not just a testament to my teams strategic prowess, but also to our collective understanding of digital currencies, especially Bitcoin.
Consulting offered another avenue to engage the business community, as evident from my tenure with the Saudi Olympic Committee in Dammam in 2013-2014. My contributions spanned a gamut of responsibilities, from security enhancements to expanding global audience engagement.
While the aforementioned roles spotlight my corporate achievements, soccer has been an inseparable part of my life's narrative. My soccer journey began at Wake Forest University, where I not only majored in English and English Literature but also earned accolades as the ACC Player of the Year and thrice being named an All American. This collegiate success was a prelude to a professional soccer career, spanning several countries. I played in Serbia, Greece, France, Denmark, Poland, and Saudi Arabia, adding diverse cultural and athletic experiences to my repertoire. My soccer journey reached its peak when I represented the US Men's National Team from 2007-2009.
I have published two books and currently write for Tarkenton Financial newsletter and my personal newsletter, "Beyond the Pitch," which fuses my passion for sports and tech.
In terms of leadership and advisory roles, I've been an integral part of The Group of Telecom in Miami, The Revolution School in Philadelphia, MLS Greats in New York, and Dyspraxia USA in Deerfield.
With the Group of Telecom, a PE firm I lead our board which oversees roughly 30M assets. For the Dyspraxia foundation, I am Chairman of the board and recently negotiated partnerships with IMB, Microsoft, Google and Roc Nation.
I am a Next Legacy Fellow, which is an exclusive venture capital fellowship for retired professional athletes in Venture and the top VC’s in Silicon Vally.
Augmenting my formal education are certifications in Blockchain, AI, Fintech, and Digital Currency. My tech toolkit comprises languages like Python and HTML, and I'm multilingual, fluent in French and Spanish.
My journey has been a blend of finance, tech, sports, and education, all fueled by a relentless pursuit of excellence, adaptability, and a hands-on approach to innovation.
